Graded Ballet Division Head/Associate Teacher RAD-RTS

Gina’s passion for ballet runs in the family as she began her ballet training with her sister, Irma B. Aguado, then a principal dancer for CCP Dance Company, now known as Ballet Philippines, globally recognized as the Philippine’s flagship company for classical ballet and contemporary dance. After receiving further training from British ballet master William Morgan and other international ballet professionals, Gina danced professionally for the Manila Metropolis Ballet under the directorship of Eddie Elejar and Tony Fabella, two of the most highly esteemed dance professionals in the Philippines. With over 15 years of ballet teaching experience, Gina, a certified teacher for the Royal Academy of Dance, founded her own ballet school in Davao, Philippines specializing in RAD. Together with her sister, also a RAD certified teacher, Gina has since mentored and entered numerous students for RAD examinations. She continues to attend RAD teachers’ courses and other dance conferences to further her dance teaching education. She has most recently completed the official Bolshoi Ballet Academy teacher certification program for Years 1-3. Los Angeles is now home for her and she is happy to be part of a distinguished and highly specialized faculty of Los Angeles Ballet Academy.
