Originally from Midway, Utah, Tess Hewlett moved to Los Angeles to begin her dance career at the age of 18. Upon completion of the scholarship program at Edge Performing Art Center, she has been featured in many music videos, commercials, films and in television. While these projects have provided an exciting diversion, Tess' passion lies in live performance. She has had the honor of working with several companies throughout Southern California and in her eight years as a professional dancer, she has worked with choreographers nationally and internationally of undeniable talent and acclaim. As much as Tess loves helping to make the visions of others come to life, she has excitedly started creating her own work. She has taught all around the United States and internationally in Singapore, Hong Kong, and New Zealand. Tess is a current member of Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company and New Guard Theater Company.
