Make-up classes are available in some cases. Check with the teacher for times.

*All classes must be paid for in advance.

All tuition and costume fees must be paid before a child will be permitted to participate in tests or performances.

There is a $15.00 charge on all returned checks.

• No refunds or credits on missed classes. Make-ups should be taken within one month of the missed class. Make-ups may not be transferred to another family member, or used instead of tuition for a new session or class.

•Appropriate attire must be worn to class. Hair for ballet should be off the face and in a bun and shoes should be properly fitted and safe to dance in. Please refer to the clothing for dance class brochure or click here.

• Los Angeles Ballet Academy Teachers will make decisions as to the appropriate class level for each student and will consult the Director and inform students or parents if a change is appropriate.

• POINTE: Students will only be considered for pre pointe if they are 11 years old, are attending at least 2 ballet classes per week (in addition to the pre pointe class) and show sufficient strength and control. Pointe and Pre Pointe students must have their feet examined and obtain a letter of approval from their physician.

• Punctual and consistent attendance is expected of all Los Angeles Ballet Academy Students in order to maintain our high Exam and performance standards. Students may not arrive late for class unless the teacher has been notified.

• Taking Ballet Classes outside of the Academy is not recommended. We believe strongly in our safe training methods and young students can become conflicted with different philosophies. Team or Company members taking outside classes without the Directors permission may be dropped from the program.

• Director will be happy to arrange a conference at the students or parents request, Please do not conference with teachers during class time.

• Team Membership, Solos or groups are by invitation of the Director, and are reviewed annually.

• Children and siblings MUST be supervised when not in class. Please help to take care of the facility by watching your children in the waiting rooms and bathrooms.

• Food and Drinks must be kept in the dressing room or observation areas. No food in the dance studio. NO GUM. Parents and students are expected to pick up after themselves and use the trash bins provided.

• Students, parents and teachers are expected to conduct themselves with respect for each other at all times. A cooperative environment is essential for learning.

• Los Angeles Ballet Academy reserves the right to refuse service.

Liability Release

I_____________________________ release Andrea Paris and Los Angeles Ballet Academy located at 18138 Sherman Way, Reseda, of any liability for accident or injury that may occur while attending dance class. I am responsible for the drop off and pick up of my child at the appropriate times and may watch any and all classes.
